This year in ESS, we will focus on modern global issues that threaten our beautiful planet. It will be the responsibility of this and future generations to find solutions to these problems through raising awareness, discovering new technology, rewarding innovation, and by passing legislation. This blog will reflect the voice of every earth and space science student in Ms. B's classes during the 2014-2015 school year, as they experience where earth began and where it is going.

2nd- lunar eclipse
Overnight on Tuesday (early Wednesday morning), look for the Moon to undergo a full lunar eclipse between 4:18am and 6:22am!
To receive credit for observing the "blood moon," log on to Twitter for a minimum of 30 minutes, chatting with classmates from #loveastro, #enviscilove, and #esslove, using the hashtag #bloodmoonlove! In at least one post, attach a pic of yourself with the Moon!
Happy Moon watching!
